Raised Bed gardening can be simply a mound of your soil in the sunny part of your yard (at least 6-8 hours of full sun) or it can have sides built out of various materials. The article written by the Master Gardener in Kansas shows us we can feed a family of 4 with a 4 'X 24' raised bed garden. There are kits available in the stores now but I have gathered some information here on building your own which can recycle items to reduce your cost. I will add more later.
